Sesquicentennial Celebrations

St Bartholomew Lodge, having been consecrated on Tuesday 18 November 1857, celebrated their sesquicentennial anniversary on Tuesday 13 November 2007.

The celebrations had been planned over a 15 month period culminating with the 150 year anniversary meeting taking place at the Masonic Hall, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton instead of the normal Lodge Rooms at Wednesbury due to the number of visitors expected to be present.

On the evening over 120 brethren were present including the Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro. Thomas D.C. Lloyd, T.D. D.L. together with officers past and present of the Province of Staffordshire and other Provinces.

The Worshipful Master, Bro. J.E.G. Brackpool welcomed everyone to the celebrations. He paid tribute to those brethren who had spent 15 months working as part of the Anniversary Committee to ensure the celebrations ran smoothly on the evening. A very happy evening was had by all who attended.
